One of the nation’s premiere organizations to recognize outstanding achievement
The original Alpha Chapter was in Pgh., PA at the Fifth Avenue School
Jerome Bettis was a member of a Detroit chapter of NHS
NHS can be found in all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada, Puerto Rico, and D.C.
NHS headquarters is in Ralston, Virginia
By 1930, there were over 1,000 chapters
